Wetland Assessment Course
July 6 @ 9:00 am – July 10 @ 5:00 pm

Join us for the BC Wildlife Federation’s inaugural Wetland Assessment Course. This multi-session course is designed to provide participants with practical knowledge and field-based skills in wetland classification, delineation, and functional assessment (using the Wetlands Ecosystem Service Protocol for BC).
This course is suitable for consultants, planners, environmental/conservation groups, government representatives, First Nations, and engaged community members and landowners. Participants are expected to come to the course with some prior wetland knowledge.
This course is broken up into three sessions, and participants may register for the ones that best fit their interests and experience. Each session builds on knowledge introduced in previous ones, so attendance at earlier sessions is strongly recommended unless you have prior wetland experience. See further details on each workshop session under the program options below.
