Join Norman Allard, Community Planner for Yaqan Nukiy (Lower Kootenay Band) for a live virtual tour of the Yaqan Nukiy Wetland Project—Canada’s largest Indigenous-led wetland restoration. Held in the lead-up to National Indigenous Peoples Day, this event offers a chance to celebrate and learn from one of the most ambitious wetland renaturalization efforts in the country.
