Join Norman Allard, Community Planner for Yaqan Nukiy (Lower Kootenay Band) for a live virtual tour of the Yaqan Nukiy Wetland Project—Canada’s largest Indigenous-led wetland restoration. Held in the lead-up to National Indigenous Peoples Day, this event offers a chance to celebrate and learn from one of the most ambitious wetland renaturalization efforts in the country. In the live tour, Allard will guide viewers through the site and answer audience questions in real time. The livestream will explore:
