Conservation Stewardship Workshops

Offered through the BCWF’s Wetlands Education Program (WEP) and Fish Habitat Restoration and Education Program (FHREP), these grassroots workshops empower participants to take action in their own communities. Designed for landowners, Indigenous community members, environmental professionals, students, and anyone interested in conservation, the workshops combine classroom learning with hands-on fieldwork.

Participants gain practical skills in wetland classification, ecological monitoring, restoration planning, and fish habitat assessment. Whether you’re restoring a wetland, enhancing salmon streams, or simply interested in learning more about local ecosystems, these workshops provide the tools and knowledge to make a lasting impact.

Our 2025 workshops are complete. Thank you to all of our project partners and workshop participants for the great year of watershed conservation education! Workshop opportunities for 2026 will be announced in the spring. To stay in the loop, consider subscribing to our newsletter!
